Lucy's Jamestown and Erie's Lake, Multi-Day, Jamestown & Erie
In Jamestown:
n Visit the Desi-Lu Center featuring the Desilu Playhouse featuring includes exact replicas of sets from the "I Love Lucy" TV series, an interactive Vitameatavegamin set, a screening area, and showcases filled with vintage memorabilia as well as costumes that were worn on the show and The Lucy-Desi Museum next door. The Lucy-Desi Museum displays items of Lucy and Desi's including priceless costumes, awards, photographs, and other vintage memorabilia. A small theatre offers screenings including excerpts from Lucie Arnaz’s Emmy Award-winning documentary "Lucy & Desi: A Home Movie" and historic TV episodes plus there are episodes playing throughout the museum as part of the various displays.
n Explore Jamestown during a guided driving tour highlighting Lucy landmarks. You’ll see the homes where Lucy was born and grew up, theaters where she performed, places where she attended school, the cemetery where she is buried with her family, and more.
n Eat like Lucy in the unique setting of the Tropicana Room, a reproduction of the "I Love Lucy" Tropicana Nightclub set. Located in the upper level of the Desilu Playhouse, this site has created a theme meal based on some of the beloved Lucy sketches. In honor of Episode #114 "L.A. at Last" including the Brown Derby, William Holden and the Infamous Burning Nose Episode, you'll enjoy salad/Italian bread, spaghetti and meatballs and chocolate mousse.
In Erie:
n Enjoy the activities in our Erie's Place on the Bay tour above plus include a visit to Presque Isle Downs casino and/or a winery or two.
