ATTRACTIONS
} Colonial Candlecrafters, Lewisburg—This site offers a personal introduction with a workshop visit and explanation of basic candle-making techniques as well as tips on making candles burn efficiently. In the main showroom a candle is hand-decorated and other types of candle-making techniques are explained.
} Country Farm & Home, Mifflinburg—Full of flowers, décor and gift items for inside and out, this site offers seasonal events including a Spring Expo, presentations and workshops, and in the holiday season turns into a wonderland full of decorated trees, ornaments, wreaths and swags.
} Hiawatha Paddlewheel Riverboat, Williamsport—Cruise the Susquehanna River aboard this replica of the vessel which graced this waterway in the 1800’s. The boat has an enclosed lower deck with cocktail service and an open upper deck plus taped historic narrative. Meal options available. May-October. Find out what a Boom Rat is and hear about how the Susquehanna River helped Williamsport become the richest city in America during the height of the Lumber Era during this narrated cruise!
} Rolling Hills Red Deer Farm, Catawissa—Enjoy hayrides into the fields where the Red Deer roam! You’ll learn a lot, have the opportunity to feed the animals, and perhaps see newborns in the spring, as well as antlers developing from velvet to hard stage, and in the fall, hear the bugling of the animals.
} Rowley House Museum, Williamsport—A Victorian gem along Millionaires’ Row, this mansion has had only three owners since it was built in 1888. It is considered one of the best examples of Queen Anne architecture in PA and features exquisite woodworking and stained glass windows.
} Shade Mountain Vineyards & Winery, Middleburg—Tucked away in the fertile Susquehanna Valley which offers ideal growing conditions, this 45-acre winery produces its own premium wines, from vine to bottle. Learn about the growing process and taste the resulting vintages.
} Thomas T. Taber Museum of the Lycoming Co. Historical Society, Williamsport—Explore the history of north-central PA including displays dedicated to the West Branch Canal and the Susquehanna River Boom, plus a Tiffany stained glass window and Shempp Model Train Exhibition with over 300 toy trains.

} Carriage Corner Restaurant, Mifflinburg—Enjoy the unique, old-fashioned atmosphere of this site featuring a buggy and carriage collection as well as antiques decorating the dining areas. } The Peter Herdic House, Williamsport—Once the residence of the founder of Millionaires’ Row, this historic site is now home to a gourmet restaurant. Enjoy not only the food but also ornate plaster moldings and mahogany stairway that curves three floors to a cupola. Cocktail service available as well as entertainment options.
} Le Jeune Chef, Williamsport—Meaning “the young chef” in French, this restaurant is a fine-dining experience presented by students of Penn College’s culinary arts and hospitality management programs. You’ll learn about young chefs of tomorrow, take a peek inside the restaurant’s kitchen and enjoy wonderful dining in this teaching-learning environment.
} Victoria House Restaurant, Lewisburg—Built in 1860’s, this home is today the site of a wonderful restaurant offering unique specialties for casual fine dining amid a setting of Victorian elegance. In addition to wonderful meals, this site offers chef demos, Victorian teas and cocktail service.
