n  Meet the lions, tigers and bears at T&D’s Cats of the World which offers refuge to exotic felines and wildlife. Consider having your group “adopt” one of these animals for just a couple of dollars per person and we’ll be sure everyone on the tour receives “adoption papers” to take home.

n  Tour a 112-acre farm with rolling pasture and lovely views to learn about the sheep, pigs, and chickens raised in a sustainable environment, do a few light “farm chores” and/or participate in a workshop felting wool.

Join thousands of Punxsutawney Phil’s fans from around the world at Gobbler’s Knob to see this furry critter predict the weather for the rest of the winter. According to legend if Phil sees his shadow there will be six more weeks of winter, and if not, an early spring. You’ll be there as Phil emerges from his burrow and tells the Groundhog Club president in “Groundhogese” his prediction which is then translated for the world. After this early morning event, enjoy browsing among vendors and shops downtown offering Groundhog Day souvenirs and other goodies. Your homework before the event is to watch the movie “Groundhog Day” (over and over) starring Bill Murray and Andie MacDowell which was recognized by the National Film Registry as being “culturally, historically or aesthetically significant.” Suggested as part of an overnight tour.  

n  Enjoy a driving tour including views of the famous Nittany Lion statue and Old Main.

n  Tour the All-Sports Museum and peak into famous Beaver Stadium where the Big Ten Nittany Lion football team competes.

n  You may also visit the Creamery and Palmer Museum of Art with meal on own downtown or at the Nittany Lion Inn and, if you wish, see a live Nittany Lion at Penn’s Cave Wildlife Park and All-Water Cavern nearby.

Williamsport is rich in baseball history as the home of Original Little League which started here in the 1930's by brothers seeking to provide wholesome fun for their children, the current headquarters of Little League International and home to the Little League World Series and Museum, plus site of Historic Bowman Field where the Williamsport Crosscutters currently play as Class B affiliates of the world-champion Philadelphia Phillies. 

n  Options include tour of both stadiums, visit to Little League Museum, visit to Original Little League field, Crosscutters home game plus other local sites. 

n  For a wonderful family getaway we can include a Susquehanna riverboat cruise plus Penn's Cave, America's only all-water cavern plus wildlife park, in Centre Hall. Or a tour of a Sheep Farm where you'll see how the animals are raised for their prized fibers!

View the mural, see a Tiffany church window as well as art by Severin Rosen who once lived in Williamsport and who was one of Jackie Onassis’ favorite artists, tour two historic churches, enjoy a meal and perhaps class at a culinary arts institute, gaze above at magnificent ceiling murals at an historic Arts Center, plus tour a Victorian mansion full of ornate woodworking.
